A young girl shows up dirty and hungry at a rural home that a researcher is using for the summer to study birds. The girl insists she is from another galaxy and will reveal little more. Between the researcher and her neighbor who farms and sells eggs, they care for the girl as they look for answers. They will have to deal with local authorities, people who are searching for the girl, and family issues that have never been resolved.

People who enjoy a book that crosses several genres without missing a beat.

The twisted history of the owner of the cabin where the researcher lives and the family of the farm next door. It's messy and fun!

I didn't think I was going to like this book at the beginning, as it looked like it would be all science fiction. I was wrong! I'm glad I didn't give up on it.

Happy and satisfied. I enjoyed how all the issues were tied up and resolved nicely.

It really does have something for everyone.
