This gripping read is kind of a mix of old west justice, paranormal adventure, and science fiction.

This is an exciting tale, even better than the first in the series, and it brings back a certain Russian Prince, and a few other great characters while moving the series forward in an exciting way. I fell in love with Lizbeth all over again.

The book examines some hard issues, is action packed, riveting (truly hard to put down), and unique. I don't know how Ms. Harris comes up with so many different series that are so unique but she's a master at storytelling and it shows.

Is an amazing storyteller. She also wrote the series behind HBO's "True Blood" as well as the Aurora T. cozy mystery series and a few other great series. I will read anything she writes.

It was riveting.

It has a lot of violence and things that might offend some people.

I borrowed the hardcover version of this book from my local library. I think it's the most interesting fiction book I've read in a long time.

I do think that readers would be best served by reading the first book in the series first though. Even though this one is better, it builds on the first. The first was a bit slower to get started, if I remember correctly, but once it got going, wow.

This one was great from the start. One line I particularly remember was, "everything was boring, until the train blew up."
