Some obscure relative got this at her baby shower so we were all treated to a reading. The title is very promising, playing on nostalgia by reminding us of the classic childhood book If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. I can see where the author was going with it, but good intentions just aren't enough when it comes to book reviews. This book is slightly entertaining with a dash of humor. The storyline didn't quite add up and I was left with one question. Was the author drinking when she wrote and/or decided to publish this book?
