Summary of this Book...
Back of Book: Grace Stanton’s life as a rising star in the world of lifestyle bloggers takes a surprising turn when she catches her husband cheating―and drives his pricey sports car straight into the family swimming pool. Grace suddenly finds herself locked out of her palatial home, checking account, and even the blog she has worked so hard to develop in her signature style. So now what? Moving in with her widowed mother, who owns and lives above a rundown beach bar called The Sandbox, is less than ideal. So is attending court-mandated weekly “divorce recovery” therapy sessions with three other women. When their “divorce coach” starts to act suspiciously, they decide to start having their own Wednesday evening “Ladies’ Night” sessions at The Sandbox, and the unanticipated bonds that develop lead the members of the group to try and find closure in ways they never imagined. Can Grace figure out a new way home and discover how strong she needs to be to get there?

I especially liked... | ||
Where to start? The cast is a group of relatable, likable, and believable characters that I wish I had known during my own divorce. Grace Stanton is a strong female heroine. It was a pleasure to watch her grow as the story unfolded. In fact, each character was written in such a way that I was either cheering for them or sending them dirty looks while plotting against them.

I recommend this Book because...
This book brought a whirlwind of emotions to the surface. I originally came across it several years ago. The timing just wasn't right for me to read it. After the first chapter, I put it away because the pain of my divorce was still fresh. I didn't want to read about a cheating asshole of a husband- I already had one of my own! I rediscovered this gem not long ago and decided to give it a second chance. I was not disappointed!
