I just couldn't get into this book. The writing itself was engaging (as all of King's writing is), but nothing here grabbed me - not the characters, not the setting, not the story - and so it ultimately felt like a fairly generic story to me. I know the author is hit or miss for a lot of readers and this one was just a miss for me personally. I'm looking forward to checking out some of his other works again soon.
