Summary of this DVD... | ||
This is movie #5 of 6 in the Thin Man Series. Nick and Nora leave Nick Jr. at home alone attending Kindergarten. This is believable with these two. They take Asta up to meet Nick's family and see his hometown in upstate New York. Some murders take place and their is the hint of blackmail and extortion, along with the suggestion of "fine art" being involved. I found this one to be very funny. Asta is smuggled on the train in a very humorous series of scenes. For some reason, the humor in this one cracked me up even more than the others. Myrna Loy is particularly funny as she tries to help and also the get her father-in-law to see how talented her husband really is. I enjoyed this one a lot and look forward to seeing the final installment. | ||
