This movie is the third in the Thin Man Series. I got it in a set and am not sure if it can be purchased new.

In this film, Nick and Nora have baby Nick. They take him on the case when Nora's relatives in Long Island have trouble. Colonel McFay, who was connected with Nora's late father's business calls them because he thinks he will be murdered. His dog is killed and then he is.

Once again, the suspects are gathered and the ending was a surprise to me. Asta is attentive and at the same time jealous of the baby. This was an intriguing installment as the baby's nurse was involved. Nick and Nora are very casual, unworried parents. Asta does the worrying for them, which was amusing.

The death of the big dog was sad and a surprise.

I enjoyed this installment as I had no clue as to who the killer was until the very end.
