This type of Book is good for...
Anyone who is looking for a haunting classic that is based in human empathy.
I especially liked... | ||
I liked how spooky it was. When I heard it was a classic, and even when I started reading and learned that there was a ghost involved, I never dreamed that there would be so many sections that were as creepy as they were. I think the vague, poetic style really contributed to this.
This Book made me feel...
Deeply for the characters. More than anything what stuck with me was the love in this book, and all of the painful forms that it took. Sometimes it was sacrifice, and other times it was selfish.
I recommend this Book because...
It was very profound. The narrative almost takes a backseat to the emotion and even the sections that are confusing were incredibly immersive.
