Summary of this Book...
I’ve read a couple of Liane Moriarty’s books before and loved them, so I was looking forward to this one. However, I came away from it feeling disappointed. This book is about the lives of and relationships between triplets Gemma, Cat, and Lyn. I love seeing how they evolve, especially Gemma. She’s my favourite character from the start, and I love the person she is at the end of the novel. Now, I love character-driven books, but there wasn’t really a lot of action in this book. I felt a little cheated, almost. A little flat. There wasn't any big plot. There was precious little plot, full stop. I did not like the snippets of strangers observing the girls at different times of their lives. I get why Moriarty did it, but it didn’t add anything, for me. I didn’t think it necessary. Actually, I found it annoying. I did enjoy the book, the more I read. The characters became more interesting. I found it an enjoyable read, but not an earth-shattering read.

I'm a fan of Liane Moriarty, I really am. I read 'The Husband's Secret' and 'Big Little Lies' and really enjoyed them. I'm not sure why this book didn't hit the spot for me. I guess, some just ... don't.
I recommend this Book because...
The characters evolve beautifully - all of them.
