Summary of this Book...
I've been following Dan Preiffer and the other Crooked Media people ever since the "Keepin' It 1600" podcast during the election. I really liked two things about this book. First, it really gives you a peek inside what it's like to work for a presidential Administration. Second, unlike most memoirs, Dan isn't afraid to tell you about mistakes he made. So many memoirs are, "Here's when I did THIS amazing thing" or "Remember that time when I was the only one who said THAT smart thing" and Dan isn't afraid to talk about the moments where he screwed up or made the wrong choice, and then learned from it. I'll admit to being a bit biased because I'm on the same side of the political spectrum as Dan, but I think anyone who's interested in knowing how a presidential administration works, and what it's like to work on a political campaign could learn a lot from this book.
