Summary of this Book...
From Goodreads This edition of Alice in Wonderland was originally published in 1865 and illustrated by John Tenniel. Tenniel was the first to illustrate this classic and is the most famous and best known illustrator of Alice. His characteristic political-cartoon style drawings are timeless and instantly recognisable. Pook Press celebrates the great Golden Age of Illustration in children's literature and are reprinting this book for adults and children to enjoy once again.

From me{/i} Seriously, that's all they had to say about it?
This type of Book is good for...
Anyone who can get past the fact that Alice is a bit of a spoiled brat (due largely in part to her age, caught between no-longer-a-child and not-quite-an-adult), and anyone who can read deliberate 'nonsense' literature without tossing the book aside and screaming 'this is nonsense'. Yeah, it's supposed to be (and it's also NOT).
I especially liked...
Carroll's sharp wit and stealthy word play. He deliberately creates frustrating logical fallacies that are funny-in-a-confusing way for children and whip-smart entertainment for adults.
The author of this Book...
Also writes hilarious poetry.
I recommend this Book because...
It's a classic, for one. Aside from that, it's just a good book.
I don't recommend this Book because...
I don't recommend it to anyone who can't deal with deliberate logical fallacy or the nonsensical.
Further Comments...
It's a shame that much of what's contained in the book is dismissed as 'children's literature'. There's plenty in here for adults, and there are some very dark undercurrents of social commentary.

The final paragraph essentially deconstructs the whole book and explains the point of itself quite clearly, leaving the reader with a bittersweet memory of Wonderland.
