This is a story of Shaye Archer, a private investigator who was once held captive and regularly abused and beaten. Shaye has no memories of the first 15 years of her life. She was adopted by a rich social worker gave her the best medical and psychiatric care to heal her broken bones and mind.

Shaye became a PI to help her clients who are threatened and stalked by serial killers, etc.

Her 1st case is Emma Frederick who is being stalked by her dead husband.

Entertainment. It is a page turner. The book also takes a look into the mind of a serial killer so it's educational too.

I liked the twists and turns of the plot. The story was gripping and kept me engaged to the end.

The book is the first in a series so I want to read the rest of the series.

I felt vulnerable realizing how easily a stalker could track you down and watch your every movement.
