Summary of this Book...
This is my favorite Maisie Dobbs detective story so far. It is still set in the early 1930's. An American cartographer (map maker) was murdered in WWI and his murder was covered up with friendly fire. Later his family wants to know the truth and there are people who would kill to keep it all quiet. In this book, Maisie loses her mentor Maurice, but finds love with James Compton, someone she has known all her life. I think this series just gets better and better with every book.
