Summary of this Book...
A teenage girl goes to live with her sister in Washington DC. When she begins her first day of school, she discovers that her sister is a "fixer"--a very powerful and influential problem solver. After inadvertently helping the Vice President's daughter out of a sticky situation, the girl becomes the unofficial "fixer" for her school. But sadly, she decides to meddle in the adult world of politics.
This type of Book is good for...
People who want a fast read. It's very well-paced, and the writing is decent. Not to flowery, and definitely plot-driven. Sort of a light thriller?
I especially liked... | ||
There is some humor and some drama in the story. The characters were... somewhat together. The development lacked at times. As the novel went on, the MC's character development almost reverted to a vanilla, regular old "good guy" type.
I didn't like... | ||
There is a bit of a "surprise" at the end that I saw coming a mile away.
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
Read the next in the series (which my library doesn't have yet, apparently). Instead, I moved on to the author's Naturals series (see further product reviews).
