This DVD that we got from Netflix Disk is about the time when Winston Churchill became Prime Minister of the U.K. during WW II. All the countries of Europe were caving without much of a fight and the future looked dim.

Churchill was a bit out of sorts at first, until he looked to the people for guidance, listening to his wife, Clementine. The people told him to fight and so he did.

Very moving and inspiring story with a great cast that includes Gary Oldman (as Churchill) and Lily James from Downton Abbey.

I enjoyed the movie very much.
