Summary of this Book...
Tim Blake's daughter, Sydney, goes to work one day and never comes home. When Tim visits the hotel where she worked, he is told they have never heard of her and she definitely never worked there. This is just the beginning of events that are no sense and lead Tim on a desperate mission to find his daughter before it's too late.
This type of Book is good for...
People who like edge-of-the-seat thrillers. Well, at least the second half of it is. Until that point, it's a little slow.
I especially liked... | ||
I loved the twists and turns. I loved the conflict between Tim and the police.
I didn't like... | ||
The ending. So much is left up in the air. There's no real conclusion. I was frustrated because I'd been trying to figure out how it would pan out for most of the book. And I never found out.
This Book made me feel...
Frustrated. But, I did enjoy it. It was an exciting ride in the second half.
The author of this Book...
Linwood Barclay. This is the third book of his I've read. The first two, I tore through and loved. This one took me longer to get into. I felt the first half was a little slow.
I recommend this Book because...
It's a good thriller. | ||
