I had forgotten how much I liked this show, which is streaming on Netflix. What triggered the memory was seeing that David Hyde Pierce is starring on Broadway in Hello Dolly with Bette Midler.

I absolutely adore the character of Niles Crane in this show, and Eddie the dog and all the others. It has me laughing my you know what off every time I watch it. It certainly stands the test of time for humor and is much funnier than anything I have tried to watch semi-recently.

I gave up on Network TV a while back, but this is from a time when writers knew how to write and actors took a script and soared with it. The co-creator of this series died in Flight 11 on Sept. 11, 2001. This is an awesome show and an amazing legacy for David Angell.

Kelsey Grammar is brilliant too, but it's always been that cheeky Niles that I adored. My Dad loved the show, as well.
