I love this series. The setting and the acting is perfection. The Shetland Islands are beautiful, like the Irish Connemara. Lots of open space and few people. Still, there is a lot of crime to be had. This season all revolves around one case that is as intricate as a spider's web. It reaches out and touches a lot of people on the Island and in Glasgow.

Nothing is quite as it seems from episode to episode (There are six in this season)

I thought it was brilliant because I figured out from the start (and kept braying it to Mr. Hooves) who there was something amiss with.

I didn't figure out all the ins and outs, but I did figured out who did the first thing right quickly.

Love this series and can't wait for Season 4!

The lead character (Jimmy Perez, played by Douglas Henshall) is very appealing. Mr. Hooves did not like his bearded look in these episodes, but I did.
