Summary of this DVD... | ||
This is a series we are watching on Netflix streaming. It is a current show on the BBC. It is sort of like Midsomer meets Grandchester. Set in the late 1940's (after WWII) it is about a little village where a parish priest (Father Brown, played by Mark Williams) has a knack for solving murders. The show is shorter than midsomer and very humorous in nature. The little priest is a cute sort in his late 50's. He rides around on a bike. The characters are all prickly and sweet, and memorable. So far we are enjoying it. It isn't as intense as Midsomer, but the village setting is reminiscent of it. Lovely show. | ||
