This is a movie we got from Netflix Disk. It is the true story of a conscientious objector in World War II fighting to get into the service as a medic. Then he is sent to Okinawa, Japan. He ends up saving more than 60 of his own troop's men in the Battle of Hacksaw Ridge. He is the first Medal of Honor Winner who was a Conscientious Objector.

Andrew Garfield and Vince Vaughn are brilliant in this film directed by Mel Gibson.

However, this film had way too much blood and guts war violence for me. More than half of it was just horrifyingly graphic so be warned.

It is more Mr. hooves style of movie than mine, although I liked the beginning when it wasn't in the War. It's a good movie, just not for me to watch.
