We gain an insider look at a family's dynamic both in the good times as well as those difficult moments many outsiders don't see. The realism of the difficult human issues each individual displays makes this film a truly human story. The happy ending isn't present but rather the fine emotions we all experience is placed bare, allowing each one of us to feel a piece of this movie in our lives. An incredible adaptation of August Wilson's play.
