Summary of this Book...
I love Lauren Graham because she plays one of my favorite characters. She actually writes as if she is the embodiment of that character, which is sort of weirdly wonderful. The character is Lorelai Gilmore of The Gilmore Girls. Recently, to coincide with the reboot of the series on Netflix, Ms. Graham wrote a memoir of sorts. It is kooky and funny with a lot of insight into human behaviors. My only wish is that she would have more revelations about doing the original Gilmore series. The summaries of the seasons are all to brief, although they are interesting. She does not say anything that anyone would object to here and there are no shocking revelations at anyone else's expense. I had fun reading it and I like Ms. Graham and her style so much that I forgive her for not having more material about one of my favorite shows. She is awesome as a character, an actor and a writer. If you like Lorelai Gilmore, you will probably enjoy this book. If you don't like Lorelai after watching the series than you probably won't like it. It's just that simple.
