Summary of this DVD... | ||
This is a series that is available on Amazon Prime. We watched the first 5 seasons, but then you have to pay to watch the 6th season, which is a ripoff that is far too common now on Amazon Prime. I hope they quit doing that. The show is about a guy who wants to be a lawyer, but he hasn't gone to law school. He fakes it and takes the LSAT for people for money. Then he gets a job with a firm practicing law and another shady lawyer type takes him under his wing. Every season there is a threat to expose him as a fraud and then different people buy into the ruse and he goes on fooling the general public. The ironic thing is he is a better lawyer not having gone to law school, then most of the real lawyers on the show. It has a good cast and funny moments, but to me, the plot is the same thing over and over again. Still, it was entertaining and I did watch it with Mr. hooves. He liked it more than I did because I got tired of the same rehashed plot. That said, Gabriel Macht and Rick Hoffman are the definite standouts in a stellar cast. The acting is all good, it's the scripts that are repetitive. The actors do a fine job with what they are given to say. I would say it is mildly enjoyable. | ||
