This was a big hit movie in the 1980's. We never saw it until recently when we got it from Netflix Disk. It has a well known cast and was very funny and entertaining.

We especially like Mandy Patinkin. It is the story of a Princess who falls for a guy who is taken by pirates and comes back as a pirate. Robin Wright Penn of House of Cards plays the Princess. Billy Crystal and other comedians have small roles.

The movie's music is lovely and it was one of the first films (if not the first, not sure) that Rob Reiner directed. Rob Reiner is nothing, if not a great storyteller.

We enjoyed the movie a lot more than we expected to.

Peter Falk and the Wonder Years kid (Fred Savage) are cute in it, too.
