I'm never disappointed by a book written by Lynette Eason. However, I am often amazed how each book gets better and better. This book is no different. "Without Warning" is an excellent title because so many different things happen in this book, you don't know what will happen next. The first part of chapter one starts with an eerie feeling and by the end of that section, you will have goosebumps on your arms. It's pretty creepy. But before you can dwell on that feeling, there is already more action.
Along with all the action, there are several side plots going on as well as a secondary and tertiary romance. There are family dynamics, PTSD, and many other intricacies that bring depth to the characters and additional suspense to the storyline. Lynette is a master at bringing all these elements together, weaving them throughout the story, and finding closure with them at the end.
As an author, I stand in awe at her wonderful style, and I highly recommend the second book in the Elite Guardians Series, Without Warning. But be prepared for a wild ride... and don't say I didn't warn you!

For those who like Christian Romantic Suspense/Thriller

The timing and pacing of the scenes and the way the storyline developed.

That a character I liked was in with the bad guy.

Pick up the next one, but it doesn't come out for several more months!

On edge, warm and fuzzy, and on edge again.

Is an amazing author. Every book has left me wanting more!

It furthers the story from the first book in the Elite Guardian series. You can see pieces of the theme sprinkled through both books.
