Summary of this Book...
A New York woman seems to have it all - great job and rich fiancé. But, in flashbacks we learn that she was raped by a bunch of classmates when she was 14 years old. That seems like a way in which she was desperate to fit in. She sort of went along with being assaulted even though she was unconscious for most of it. Her sad desperation and the limited avenues of help are heart breaking. About 3/4 of the way through, this book takes a very violent turn. It is also shocking and surprising with regard to the plot. I was bored for most of the beginning - bored or repulsed. Then something happens that I won't give away and we get new insight into TifAni Fannelli. I didn't really enjoy the book, but the ending part was very gripping reading. A real life friend recommended it so I hung in there. If you start it, hang in there for a wild read at the end. Like most books these days, the ending was wanting, but there you are. It was pretty surprising and it is hard to surprise me much so there's that.
