Summary of this Book...
This is Gina Wohlsdorf's first novel, and writing in her own style that was seriously influenced by writers such as Stephen King and Edgar Allen Poe, she's written a book that is a definite page turner. 'Security' is about a brand new 20 story hotel on the California coast just waiting for its opening night, but will the staff live to see it? A killer (or killers?) lurks somewhere, but the main character Tessa, the hotel manager, doesn't know the killings are even happening until it's too late. At least some for some.
This type of Book is good for...
Reading in bed when you don't want to go to sleep, because you definitely won't sleep if you're reading this!
I especially liked... | ||
Her own style of writing. For a debut novel, this writer is certainly on her way to for fame.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Go out and get her next novel, but unfortunately that won't be out for some time. I understand she's still in the process of writing it!
This Book made me feel...
Leery of staying in tall hotels on the California coast.
The author of this Book...
As I said, this is first time novelist. She grew up reading and idolizing Stephen King and Edgar Allen Poe, but she's adopted her own style of writing, and it works beautifully for this book.
Further Comments... | ||
I'm in the process of writing my own book, and after having read Gina Wohlsdorf's Security and seeing that she can make her dream come true, it gives me the inspiration to accomplish my dream too!
