Summary of this Book...
Dare is a realistic story about two brothers who are taken in by a tough teacher/horse rancher after their grandmother dies. The elder boy is a rebellious loner type yet wants to look after his younger brother. The emotional intensity as the boys learn to trust and find a home is potent, especially with the older boy, DARE, who secret family trauma keeps him trapped in himself. I had to keep reading to the conclusion!
