This is a fast paced Canadian show that we watch on Netflix. I will just review this one season, unless there is a marked change.

The plots are all similar. It is slapstick detective adventures for Allan Hawco as Jake Doyle. The rest of his family works in the family bar or in the detective business. They are always in danger, every episode and there is lots of chase scenes and fight scenes. It is highly unbelievable and the situations are frustrating for me as a viewer. Mr. hooves likes this one better than I do.

I like Jake, but I am tired of the series focusing so much on his cheating love life. He has a lot of sex in the first few seasons, with different people even though he is supposed to be in love with the policewoman named, Leslie. Needless to say, they have their ups and downs.

when the cast from Murdoch Mysteries appears in the episodes. That is a Canadian show, too.

is pretty interesting. They have guest stars like the Murdoch people and even Russel Crowe and Shannon Tweed, at times.
