Summary of this DVD... | ||
Unable to find a suitable master to serve for their clan of minions, three of them head off on a journey across the globe to find a suitably evil master and on the way have some weird and wacky adventures!
This type of DVD is good for...
Children, Families. Light-hearted viewing.
I especially liked... | ||
That a lot of it was set in London in the UK and the American made "British" jokes!! (Yes, we really do spend every day drinking afternoon tea and listening to The Beatles ). I also liked the weird dungeon scene.....
I didn't like... | ||
An emphasis on quite basic and "slapstick" style humour. The plot was quite slow paced to start with.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
Be off the train already!
I recommend this DVD because...
It's a minion film and if you like the minions it is entertaining and easy to watch. I watched this on the train on my tablet computer and it's good for that as you don't have to put much effort in to watching it. There are a few funny bits in it, especially some of the bits about the Royal Family (in the UK).
I don't recommend this DVD because...
The movie seemed to me more aimed at children than other modern day animated movies where you get various jokes which are aimed at the adults as well as those designed for kids but all in all, I found this film rather more on the childish side, with a lot of slapstick style humour that would appeal to kids I didn't think it was as good as the "Dispicable Me" film which the Minions first appeared in
