A young man goes on a quest to finish what his grandfather started. Along the way, he happens across extraordinary kids with unique abilities. But he also happens across a never before known evil that threatens not only these unique individuals, but quite possibly the world at large.

Anyone into the unusual, sci-fi, mysteries, Ransom Riggs fans and anybody into magic realism.

That the characters were able to team up to fight this evil.

The extent that this evil was willing to go.

Continue the series.

Intrigued.

Really set the mood, and gave a different turn to storytelling. The pictures involved help give a glimpse into the world the author creates.

Once I started, I couldn't wait to finish.

There may a few scenes that may be unpleasant/uncomfortable, maybe a little dark that might put off some people. I found it a bit upsetting.

You don't know until you dive in. I now have 2/3 of the series and I can say that I have ABSOLUTELY no regrets.
