Summary of this Book...
Scaredy Squirrel and camping do not go together! It's much, much too dangerous for him to be out there in the wild. There's so many "troublemakers" out there who could harm him- skunks, mosquitoes, quicksand, the three bears, penguins, and even zippers! So he'll just enjoy camping through watching his new television. Except the television needs to be plugged in. His tree has no electrical outlet- and the nearest one is very far into the woods. As he's dashing through, he sees a penguin- and panics! He ends up in a canoe, and after playing dead, realizes nature is meant to be enjoyed up close, not from afar! He begins to participate in camping activities, and after he plugs in his extension cord the next morning, he decides camping isn't that bad after all!

I especially liked... | ||
Scaredy Squirrel is definitely one scared-silly squirrel. His new outlook on camping at the end of the book is wonderful, though!
This Book made me feel...
happy! I'm happy Scaredy Squirrel overcame his fear of camping, and he's enjoying roasted marshmallows now!
I recommend this Book because...
It's a good way to show kids that even if they're scared of something, it might not be too bad at the end, if you actually experience it first-hand!
