Summary of this Book...
Scaredy Squirrel is afraid of everything, especially green martians, killer bees, germs, and sharks! He likes to stay in his tree and do the same thing over and over, day after day. He does not like going into the "unknown", everywhere else outside of his tree. Then a killer bee appears and he drops his emergency kit. Scaredy Squirrel jumps out of his tree to rescue it, only to find out he's a flying squirrel! Suddenly, he's no longer so scared of the unknown, and is willing to go off and adventure.

I especially liked... | ||
This was a cute book about overcoming fears. Using a squirrel to show children it's not a bad thing to creep out of your comfort zone every now and then was a nice idea.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
read more in the Scaredy Squirrel series and see what other antics this silly animal might be doing!
The author of this Book...
has written other children's series including one with a cat named Chester, and another titled "Learning with Animals".
I recommend this Book because...
it shows that you never know what might happen if you venture into the unknown.
