Summary of this Book...
Cowboy Gene's eight cows and Cowgirl Sue's eight cows, are separated by a fence. After a tornado hits, the fence is blown clean away and sixteen cows are mingling. Gene sings the cows his way while Sue sings them hers. The confused cows don't know which way to go, so they run up the hill, then down, and back and forth. Gene and Sue finally call a truce before the cows drop from exhaustion. And the sixteen cows become bridesmaids.

I especially liked... | ||
I love this author's sing-song meter and rhyme. She never disappoints!
The author of this Book...
Sue Wheeler has written many children's books and lives somewhere near Detroit, Michigan. Like Gene and Sue, she and her husband used to be neighbors, but neither one can carry a tune in a bucket. Kurt Cyrus is the amazing illustrator. He lives out west and gets a little nervous around cows.
