Each eager ape has the best intentions for helping out the mayor, but only makes matters worse. And the mayor liked his town tidy. In fact, it was set to win the Tidiest Town Competition for the the third year in a row! When the town turns to ruins, thanks to the apes, Baking Great Ape fixes everything by baking a huge cake. Everyone, including the townsfolk and mayor, have a slice of cake and really start to enjoy themselves. Mr. Mayor comes to realize, he might not have the tidiest town any longer, but the happiest.

Ages 3 - 7 but I believe it's a good one for all ages, including adult who suffer from perfection!

I loved the outcome, how the mayor realized what was the most important quality of his town.

This is Roman Milisic's first picture book. He is a writer, presenter, and award-winning fashion designer in New York City. He and the illustrator went to kindergarten together in England.

The illustrator, A. Richard Allen, has won top illustration awards and is best known for his work in advertising and the press.

I believe it's important for everyone to realize life is not all about perfection. It's about getting along, being together, and good friends.
