This type of Book is good for...
Ages 3 - 7 | ||
I especially liked... | ||
I liked this book even more after listening to the song on the CD.
This Book made me feel...
I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it just felt like a downer, though it has a good message. I do recommend listening to the CD though. I liked the book better after hearing the music, realizing the book is written from the lyrics.
The author of this Book...
Steve Seskin and Allen Shamblin with an afterward by Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul & Mary. Glin Dibley is the illustrator and I loved the BIO written about him in the back, ending with "Hey, don't laugh at me!"
I recommend this Book because...
This might be a good way to begin a discussion on bullying, though it does mention God, so I'm sure the public school teachers might shy away from reading it due to various beliefs in the classroom.
