Summary of this DVD... | ||
In this second season, the first four episodes have John Kelly still as Andy's partner. He's facing a disciplinary transfer so he leaves the force. Andy finds any change to be difficult. A new partner, Bobby Simone, arrives, played by Jimmy Smitts. His love interest, played by Kim Delaney, comes later in the season. Andy's big complaint about his new partner is that he says things like "Good morning, and so forth." Andy and Sylvia (the District Attorney) continue their relationship as Andy mostly stays true to his resolve to quit drinking. Greg and Donna have some rough times with their relationship and Greg and his wife think about reconciling. Lt. Fancy's wife has a baby boy and he's concerned for her well being.
This type of DVD is good for...
anyone who enjoys a funny and tragic police drama. The stories really stand the test of time.
I recommend this DVD because...
it is a trip back in time with the backdrop of the World Trade Centers. Plus, the cell phones are huge. They use paper instead of computers and the people really interact and don't have their heads stuck in technology. There wasn't much technology to go with at this point, although DNA was starting to be used in criminal cases. I enjoy every episode!
Further Comments... | ||
I think this might be my most favorite show ever. I want to see Hill Street Blues - it's not available on Netflix yet. I remember it was terrific and set in an earlier time in the 1980's.
