Summary of this DVD... | ||
Mike, a one eyed green little monster, has always wanted to be a "scarer" when he grows up but when he finally arrives at Monsters University he is told he is just not scary enough and is kicked off the course. Determined to prove himself, he enters the "Scare Games" with an unlikely team of misfit monsters who are about as scary as a collection of cuddly toys along with his arch rival Sulley who was instrumental in getting him kicked off in the first place! Can they prove that they are the scariest monsters in the school? And will Mike and Sulley overcome their differences in order to win?
This type of DVD is good for...
Families, Any ages, good to watch when traveling or when you are feeling lazy and don't want to watch anything too demanding or deep.
I especially liked... | ||
The visuals of all the different monster characters which are very creative. I liked the ending - the way it was kind of predictable, but not quite. There were a few bits of "adult" humour thrown in as with many modern day kids movies.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
Watch the other Monsters INC film which I have never seen to find out what happens next!
The cast of this DVD... | ||
Includes the voices of Billy Crystal and John Goodman for the two main characters.
I recommend this DVD because...
It's a very cute story and although it is really intended for children, I actually quite enjoyed watching it on a lazy Saturday afternoon when I didn't feel like using my brain much! It's quite a "feel good film" to watch and has got all sorts of messages behind it....never give up.....believe in yourself....work hard and you get what you want etc etc!
