This Heather Graham novel is book 2 of the Flynn Brothers Trilogy, but stands equally well as a stand alone book which is the way I read it.

Deadly Harvest is a suspense filled mystery story that takes place in Salem where women are being murdered and hung up on poles as scarecrows in the middle of cornfields. The locals are afraid that the Harvest Man has returned and is killing the women.

An empath named Rowenna, who has helped police to solve cases by putting herself in the place of the victims, returns home to help Jeremy Flynn, an ex-police officer solve a missing woman. The woman is Jeremy's ex-partner's wife.

A love interest develops between the two of them and coupled with a boat-load of suspense, it makes for a very good read.

Being a horror/suspense fan, I especially enjoyed the suspense that Heather Graham brought to this story.

In the e-book (I don't know about the paper version), there were more than a few typos and grammatical errors.

I'm a fan of Heather Graham so, naturally, I wanted to read another book of hers.

As a suspense freak, I enjoyed the suspenseful parts best, and there were plenty.
