Summary of this Book...
This book is about the adult years in the life of Anjelica Huston. It includes memories of her relationships with Jack Nicholson, Ryan O'Neal, and her late husband, Robert Graham. I was disappointed that there wasn't anything about the filming of The Mists of Avalon in this. There was quite a bit about The Addams Family movies and the wonderful Raul Julia. I enjoyed reading about her life, but sometimes her habit of refering to everyone by their first names was a bit confusing as there was more than one Jack and a few other names were like that, also. This is a good hearted memoir that I enjoyed reading. I agree with her about medical experiences. There is nothing quite so horrible as witnessing someone you love at the mercy of the medical community's ineptitude.
This type of Book is good for...
anyone interested in film.
I recommend this Book because...
it was interesting to me and I enjoyed reading it. I feel like I know Anjelica Huston a little better now than I did. For a long time I thought she was sort of Jack Nicholson's victim, but now I don't see her as anyone's victim.
Further Comments... | ||
Ms. Huston is unfailingly kind to all of the people she writes about.
