This was a fascinating book about JFK's Assasination, written by one of the main doctors who tried to save him that day at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

I believe what this doctor says about what he witnessed. It was shocking and riveting.

I have a problem with the book and that is that there is a lot of speculation about things the doctor does not really know about. All he really knows is what he witnessed. I think he should have stuck with that and let the reader draw their own conclusions.

It would have been a much better book without his helpers. I pretty much have accepted that Oswald did it and there was some government involvement with him that dealt with covering things up. But, after having read this doctor's view of the wounds, I have to reopen my mind to the fact that there was more than one shooter.

I now believe that is so. This doctor would have to be a monumental liar for that not to be true. I guess he has been attacked by proponents of that big phoney Warren Commission but I always thought their stupid magic bullet theory was beyond belief. Arlan Spector was always a weirdo, even later as Senator, right up until his end.

It will always probably be a mystery as to who else did it, but standing in that school book depository museum as I did in 1994, I realized that I had not heard the truth about the thing. I don't believe anyone could have gotten of all that shots from that height and distance at a moving target.

Sorry, but being there changed it all for me. I think (after reading this book) that there were shooters on that grassy knoll.

It doesn't change the result, the man is still dead, but someday maybe history will tell the truth about what happened and who covered it up and why.

it really opened my eyes to what went on. I have read a lot of things, including Clint Hill's account. Now, that is thrown into question, but he was an alcoholic I guess, even then. Apparently there are still a lot of loose cannons in the Secret Service, which is highly unfortunate for the country.

I think you have to read this book and take into account that some of it is the doctor's first hand experience and some is "helpful" additions by people who have a vested interest in promoting conspiracy theories they like.
