Summary of this Book...
This novel is generally considered to be a classic dystopian. A world in which children are genetically engineered, monogamy is frowned upon, and drugs are doled out to all citizens? It is not difficult to understand why it is a must-read science fiction classic.

This Book made me feel...
To be quite honest, I think that the society is as close to Utopian as I have ever seen in a novel, and I read science fiction like it's going out of style. If people are raised in this society and have no idea what they are "missing", then it shouldn't be a consideration when judging the state of their society. Of course, the novel was meant to horrify people, but it did not horrify me. The bottom line is that had I been born into that society, I would have been blissfully happy... just like everyone aside from the protagonist. Regardless of whether people view the society as dystopian or utopian, the novel is brilliantly crafted. I adore it.
