Summary of this DVD... | ||
Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction is a simple, fun show. You see five stories per episode, all with a mystery/horror theme. At the end of the show, they reveal which ones are fact and which are fiction.
This type of DVD is good for...
Anyone who likes mystery/horror/suspense stories.
I especially liked... | ||
This show is awesome because each episode is only an hour long and tells five different stories. You don't need much of an attention span to watch it. It also reminds me of Tales From The Darkside, which is always good.
I didn't like... | ||
There was never any citation provided throughout the entire show. Something absurd would happen and they would say it was fact, but never give any further information. It was common to hear, "This story is fact. It happened in the Northeast during the mid-eighties."
This DVD made me feel...
Scared! I still remember some episodes that freaked me out pretty badly as a kid. The show was out from the time I was six until I was eleven and we would watch it together as a family. It's safe to say a spent more than a couple nights hiding under the covers from something I saw on Beyond Belief.
I recommend this DVD because...
It's quick and interesting. As a writer, it sparks a lot of ideas because there are so many different stories told within each episode. It's a great creativity booster.
