Summary of this Book...
Roake, the multi-billion dollar husband of NYC homicide lieutenant, Eve Dallas, has purchased an old building to add to his huge portfolio of expansive properties. The renovations have just started with Roake picking up a sledgehammer and giving the first strike of demolition. As the walls of the interior start to fall a body is found and then another. It looks like a homicide and his Lieutenant wife, Eve, is called in to take over the case.
This type of Book is good for...
This is book #38 in this series. It is a complete murder mystery story on it's own. It will take you from the beginning of the homicide through the entire solving of the case.
I especially liked... | ||
JD Robb (Norah Roberts) has written a crime-solving, detective series without getting too deep, or gore-detailed. As a reader, you will be able to follow along with the investigation on a lighter field than most other hard hitting novels.
I didn't like... | ||
Since I have read every one of the novels in this series, I know the formula. I know the path the story will take even if the perpetrators change.
This Book made me feel...
These are very easy books to read for a serial killer, murder homicide set of stories. They stay slightly shallow when compared to other novels of this type available.
The author of this Book...
The author is JD Robb which is the name on this entire (and only) series of 'In Death' books. It is actually Norah Roberts, but since she isn't writing her typical romance novels with these books, she uses this pseudonym for this series.
I recommend this Book because...
Concealed in Death is #38 in the JD Robb series. It could be another stand alone mystery, murder novel but the reader might realize there are items about the characters that they don't fully know without all the backstory that has taken place as the series progressed.
