This is the story of a young Englishwoman, Louisa Clark. She lives in a small town and her horizons are somewhat limited when she is fired from her job at a cafe. She is 26 and unemployed, so she goes to work for a rich fellow who happens to be paralyzed after a horrific accident.

This novel deals with their evolving relationship as he opens horizons for her and she shows him that he can still feel love, even if it is a love that is about moving on.

anyone who enjoys a good story with witty characters.

Clark. She is a wonderful character and so is Will Traynor, her boss.

uplifted. It had a wonderful ending. So many books these days have disappointing endings.

knows how to write in a way that engages the reader and gets them to care about her characters.

it is a page-turner and the ending didn't disappoint me. That is really saying something lately.
