Summary of this Book...
It is Nick and Amy's fifth wedding anniversary on a warm summer day in Missouri. The story unfolds rapidly when Amy disappears and the police and media begin questioning the lack of reaction from Nick, and growing evidence of his possible involvement in getting rid of his wife.
Police investigate and find what seems to be a staged altercation in only the living room of their home, but evidence of Amy's blood mopped from their kitchen floor. Nick denies any wrong-doing but is caught in an endless stream of lies and deceit.

This type of Book is good for...
A suspenseful, thriller of a crime novel that will keep you reading and interested until the end. The shifts and plot progression is so engrossing, it will be hard to put down this type of mystery.
I especially liked...
This was a very well thought out book with so many twists you will never see coming. It takes the reader on such a psychological bend that you will applaud its intelligence on the tenuous relationships between men and women while making you feel utterly deceived.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
When I finished this book I was completely happy to know it is fiction. It was devious and dark. You wanted to find a character to cheer and hope for, but would settle for finishing the book and knowing the truth.
I recommend this Book because...
If you are looking for a dark mystery, this book will keep you turning pages. It's a crime novel complete with police investigation, mixed with suspense, with added relationship viewpoints, and plot twists. It keeps a steady pace throughout the book and supplies heavy doses of lies, deceit, and evasive behaviour. It is a mystery that is completely devious.
Further Comments...
I wasn't expecting much from this book but was surprised. I didn't think I would like the style since it went back and forth from Nick's perspective to Amy's diary. It completely worked in this book.
The way the story is laid out makes the reader want to know more.
It is very dark, psychologically creepy, and devious. If that makes you uncomfortable it may not be the best book for you to read. It will not leave you feeling good at the end, except for the fact you have finished the book and these characters are contained in a fiction story.
