Summary of this DVD...
This movie is part of my goal of seeing all of Jean Harlow's work. This is one of her earliest efforts, filmed in 1930 when she was just 19 years old.

Howard Hughes produced and directed this movie, that has a lot of aerial sequences, using a lot of planes, which was unusual for that time. It is best known, now, for introducing Ms. Harlow in a supporting role. Three friends (2 British brothers and one German) from Oxford University go to fight in WW I on different sides.

Two of them (the brothers) are involved with Helen (played by Harlow) a bad girl, who likes excitement.

Harlow has a big role in this wears a lot of skimpy outfits. The story is kind of corny, but, hey, it's 1930.
This type of DVD is good for...
anyone interested in Harlow's movies.
The cast of this DVD...
isn't all that memorable except for Harlow. I was surprised that they had colorized a small part of the movie - I guess that was Howard Hughes' genius at work.
