Mice have evolved to learn how to use computers. The problem is, it's dangerous and takes a lot of work. One day, the owner of the host house of a colony of mice makes a tiny laptop, called a Thumbtop, with the help of his niece. When the niece, Megan, has to move across the country, three mice are picked to follow to make sure the Thumptop stays safe until they can make human contact.
