Thumbelina is born from a flower and thinks she is the only one her size (the size of a thumb). After her 'mother' reads her a story about faeries, Prince Cornelius of the faeries sees her and they fall in love, but after he leaves, she is kidnapped by Mrs. Frog, who tries to make her get famous and marry her son. Then it is a journey to find home.
