Summary of this Video Game...
This is a revisit of one of my favorite movies. I watched a crappy movie (Austenland) and decided to watch a movie I know is awesome. This is the story of a group of criminals who are brought together for a line-up. They are seemingly led by an ex-cop who is a criminal mastermind. At least, they seem at first to be led by this fellow named, Keaton (played by Gabriel Byrne). Keaton has given up the life of crime, and has a beautiful lawyer girlfriend. Something keeps pulling him back and he is (and always will be) sucked in by the promise of one last, huge score. They all are propelled and compelled into the plan which involves taking over a ship. The standouts in the cast are Byrne, Stephen Baldwin, Benicio del Toro and, of course, Verbal Kent, played by Kevin Spacey.
This type of Video Game is good for...
anyone who enjoys a suspenseful thriller. Who is Keyser Soze? If you haven't seen it, you will be very surprised at how this all plays out and how you, as the audience, have been played. It required watching it twice, but the second time and even the third are a joy.
I especially liked... | ||
Baldwin and Spacey. Chaz Palmenterri is quite good as the Detective, trying to unravel it all. He's a little slow, but he gets it in the end in more ways than one. I think.
When I finished playing this Video Game I wanted to...
watch it again. I am so hooked on Kevin Spacey after watching House of Cards that I want to see anything and everything that he does. He amazes me.
I recommend this Video Game because...
you will be amazed at what you miss on the first go round and how all your assumptions go right out the window. WOW. This is a classic and Kevin Spacey definitely earned his Oscar for his portrayal of the wimpy, but mysterious Verbal Kent!
Further Comments... | ||
I could write a more detailed review revealing what I think I know about Keyser Soze, but this is a theory and a theory only. Maybe he is. And maybe he isn't. Nothing is what it seems to be.
